Electrical Engineer – Server Power & Data Center Systems

They are seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and validate electrical architectures, ensuring alignment with cooling and facility architecture while collaborating with OEMs and managing documentation compliant with global standards.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and validate electrical architectures from server to rack level, including PDUs, busbars, and cabinet-level power systems
Engineer and review data center electrical infrastructure, including LV/MV distribution, switchgear, UPS, and generator integration
Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical (MEP) and design & build teams to ensure electrical systems align with cooling and overall facility architecture
Partner with OEMs (e.g., AMD, Dell, Nvidia, Supermicro) to optimize electrical integration at the rack and chassis level
Support innovation and R&D projects, developing scalable electrical designs for next-generation immersion-cooled environments
Contribute to D&B project execution: design review, vendor selection, commissioning, and on-site validation
Develop and maintain documentation, electrical schematics, and test protocols compliant with global standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE, etc.)
Ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency of all power systems while meeting sustainability and energy-efficiency objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
5–10 years of experience in server power distribution and/or data center electrical systems
Proven track record with OEMs (AMD, Dell, Nvidia, Supermicro, etc.) or MEP/hyperscaler environments
Strong understanding of rack-level electrical design, PDUs, and power topologies
Experience with data center design standards (TIA-942, Uptime Institute, ASHRAE TC9.9)
Excellent communication and project coordination skills; ability to work in cross-functional and global teams
Preferred
Familiarity with immersion cooling or advanced cooling methods a plus
