The Production Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on sales orders, sales forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints

Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components

Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, shortages, or changes in demand

Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment among production, inventory, and customer delivery goals

Maintain accurate records of production activities, schedules, and performance metrics

Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and scheduling processes

Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding schedule changes, priorities, and potential risks
