They are seeking motivated students for a Summer 2026 internship in their A&P teams, where interns will gain hands-on experience and collaborate with experts in the field. Interns will support maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations while learning from experienced mechanics.

Responsibilities
Partner with an existing aerospace engine mechanic team to support the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations in Dallas, TX
The Mechanic Trainee will learn how to perform routine maintenance, and major inspections on turbine powered aircraft engines
Trouble-shooting, repair, and modification of aircraft components and engines will also be a part of this OJT program
Works with hand held tooling as well as OEM tooling
Use of Torque wrenches as well as precise measuring tools
Balance theory and application
Observes all safety, environmental and general housekeeping rules and policies
May perform other duties as required by the department
Qualification
Required
Must be authorized to work in the U.S
A prospective student must meet screening and security requirements
Must have basic computer knowledge
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Must have proven mechanical and technical aptitude
Must have proven experience using a variety of hand and power tools
Must be able to accurately read and interpret dimensions and measurements
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time daily
Must be able to bend, stretch, crawl, and climb ladders in order to work on areas within the aircraft that are difficult to access
Must be able to think clearly and speak intelligibly on the telephone and in person
The internship term will be Summer 2026 (beginning mid - May)
Length of internship is between 10-12 weeks
Internship is located in Dallas, TX; students must be local to Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area
