Women's Mental Health Therapist (CT)

FamilyWell is an AI-enabled mental health start-up focused on enhancing access to high-quality mental health services for women. They are seeking a Women's Mental Health Therapist to provide individual tele-therapy, conduct psychological intakes, and develop care plans for patients, particularly those who are pregnant, postpartum, or experiencing menopause.

Responsibilities

Provide individual tele-therapy to patients requesting regular sessions using FamilyWell’s virtual platform
Conduct one-on-one psychological intakes for referred FamilyWell program patients, gathering comprehensive assessments to inform treatment planning
Document patient progress comprehensively, sharing treatment recommendations with medical providers, psychiatric consultants, and other treating professionals as needed
Facilitate treatment plan modifications for patients needing more intensive or specialized mental health care, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions
Develop and deliver Care Plans post-session, offering patients actionable insights and follow-up steps

Required

Licensed mental health provider who holds an active license in CT. All applicants must be able to practice independently / without supervision
Licensures that qualify include the following: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Passionate and driven to improve women's mental healthcare delivery, especially for vulnerable patient populations
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams
Commitment to patient-centered care and innovative mental health solutions
Proficiency with tele-therapy platforms and virtual care delivery

Preferred

Formal perinatal/peri/menopause mental health training or a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience working with pregnant and/or postpartum and/or peri/menopause patients is strongly preferred
Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International is recommended but not required
Proof of certification in the treatment of the Peri/Menopause population is recommended but not required
