Responsibilities
Work with soil and plant tissue sampling
Scout for pests in potatoes, alfalfa, corn, carrots, green beans, onions, and water sampling
Occasional travel to other farms and working with other crops
Gather accurate samples to base weekly fertilizer and spraying schedules
Qualification
Required
Internship will require at least 8 weeks with the option for additional internship work experience
Interns will be expected to work 50+hrs/week and occasional weekend work
On-the-job training provided
Work with soil and plant tissue sampling
Scouting for pests in potatoes, alfalfa, corn, carrots, green beans, onions, and water sampling
Benefits
$10,000 scholarship toward his or her education
