Responsibilities
Participate in the provision of safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Nurse Manager
Greet patients upon admission to the Behavioral Health Unit
Provide patient unit orientation
Provide the patient with the standard daily activity schedule and setting behavior expectations during the patients stay on the unit
Lead group sessions to develop patient relationships
Sessions include daily goal setting and follow up with patients to track their accomplishments
Establish rapport and trust with patients
Offer interventions if patient situations escalate
Assist with patient personal care
Perform health monitoring activities
Qualification
Required
More than 2 years' experience required
High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
Special Training: Basic Life Support, CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
Preferred
Training Preferred: Medical terminology, CNA, Previous Behavioral Health Experience
