Responsibilities
Perform internal audits for a multi-national semiconductor manufacturer
Facilitate 3rd party (Registrar and Customer) audits
Lead internal problem-solving teams to identify root cause and implement systemic improvements
Perform feasibility reviews on customer specifications and non-standard requests. Work with internal stakeholders (engineering, factories, etc.,) to implement requirements
Support integration activities, related to company acquisitions, into Microchip’s QMS
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Engineering (EE preferred) or equivalent
7+ years of related work experience; preferably in semiconductors or electronics field
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards (e.g. ISO9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 etc.)
Working knowledge of Statistical concepts (e.g. SPC, DOE, Regression Analysis, MSA, etc.)
Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills
Self-motivated and goal-oriented team player
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
