Pump Engineer
Holtec International is a prominent innovator in the clean energy industry, including nuclear and solar sectors. They are seeking a Pump Engineer to develop requirements and specifications for pumps used in nuclear power plants and support engineering and licensing for the SMR-300 program.

Responsibilities
Engaged in the development of requirements and specifications for a variety of pumps for various systems in nuclear power plants
Support engineering and licensing requirements, leading to the licensing and construction of the first SMR-300 plant
Qualification
Required
BS in an engineering discipline
In-depth knowledge of pump design, operation, maintenance, and testing considerations/procedures
Experience in developing and/or reviewing pump procurement specifications for nuclear power plants
Familiarity with pump maintenance impacts on power plant outages
Excellent technical writing, interpersonal and effective communication skills
Preferred
Masters degree in Mechanical or other engineering discipline
Experience working with engineers and vendors/manufacturers to develop designs and drawings
Experience working in the nuclear energy field
EIT and/or PE certification
