Copyedit manuscripts to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in language
Make changes to follow the style guide of the journal
Engage closely with academic content while maintaining high editorial standards
Qualification
Required
Native-level English proficiency with an excellent understanding and application of language and grammar rules
A Master's degree, PhD, or professional degree in Life Sciences or Physical Sciences
Prior experience copyediting academic/research papers or professional experience in one of the above fields
Strong attention to detail
Understanding of style conventions for academic research papers (e.g., UK vs US English, reference styles, standard style guides such as AMA and CSE)
Strong sense of ownership with regard to quality and on-time delivery
