Responsibilities

Partner with production hiring managers to understand headcount needs, refine job requisitions, create targeted job postings, and align on hiring strategies and interview feedback
Source skilled production talent (e.g., technicians, welders, machinists, assembly specialists) using innovative strategies, including LinkedIn, industry networks, trade schools, and vocational programs
Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear recommendations
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including coordinating onsite interviews, candidate tours, offer negotiations, background checks, reference verification, and new hire paperwork
Identify recruitment challenges in production hiring and propose actionable solutions to streamline processes
Train hiring managers and team members on best practices for recruiting and interviewing production candidates
Organize and execute recruitment events, such as job fairs, facility tours, or virtual webinars tailored to production roles
Ensure compliance with EEO/OFCCP regulations, supporting annual reporting requirements
Build relationships with diverse talent networks, trade unions, and industry associations to enhance candidate pipelines

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of recruiting experience, with a focus on production, manufacturing, or skilled trade roles
Proven track record as an in-house or agency recruiter in high-volume, fast-paced environments

Preferred

Experience recruiting for production roles in advanced manufacturing, infrastructure, or startup environments
Expertise in non-traditional sourcing methods, such as targeted LinkedIn campaigns, industry events, or partnerships with apprenticeship programs
Strong ability to distinguish top-tier talent (e.g., top 5% vs. top 50%) in production fields
Excellent relationship-building skills with hiring managers, including Director and VP-level leaders
