InternGriffin Media is seeking a Newsroom Intern for their News On 6 team in Tulsa. The intern will assist and observe the operations of a newsroom, learning basic producer, reporting, and web skills while contributing to the team's culture.

Responsibilities
Intern will learn basic producer skills including writing, researching facts, logging video, timing of stories and newscast, utilizing wire services, and prompter operation
Intern will learn basic reporting skills including interviewing sources, logging video, writing stories, and appearing on camera
Intern will learn basic web skills including writing and posting stories to News9.com, as well as using social media to post and gather news
Further learning opportunities will be possible by shadowing different members of our diverse station
Qualification
Required
GPA of 2.75 or above
Intern must have completed 60 credit hours toward their degree. Copy of official transcript must be uploaded with application
Intern candidates must be self-motivated and work well with others
Professional dress is expected at all times
Availability for internship up to 16 hours per week
