Senior Product Manager - Tech, AWS Distributed SQL
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Product Manager in the AWS Distributed SQL organization to influence the direction of a new cloud database. Responsibilities
Help accelerate the product engineering and business growth of Amazon Aurora DSQL
Shape and lead product strategy – turning insights and customer feedback into plans that accelerate delivery and delight customers
Take ownership of roadmap prioritization and contribute to feature development by acting as the voice of the customer throughout the software development lifecycle
Collaborate directly with software engineering teams and interact with the senior management team within the AWS databases organization
Qualification
Required
5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
3+ years working with database technology in a product management or practitioner role
Preferred
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
