CRB is a firm specializing in innovative solutions for the life sciences and food and beverage industries. They are seeking a VDC Technician Intern to contribute to real-world projects, develop project documents, and assist with coordination among various disciplines.

Responsibilities

Developing project documents (e.g., calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications, etc.) for clients in coordination with regulatory bodies and industry standards

Assisting with development of conceptual designs and coordinating with the design team under direction of the project team lead

Coordinating with other disciplines and other internal and external team members (e.g., vendors, clients, and contractors)

Required

Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field

Available to work full-time during the internship period: May–August 2026

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)

Strong interest in the Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industries

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines and with internal and external stakeholders (vendors, clients, contractors)

Eagerness to learn about the AEC industry and apply academic knowledge to real-world design and construction technology applications

Willingness to relocate or work in one of CRB's internship locations, which may include: Kansas City (MO), Raleigh (NC), Orange County (CA), Philadelphia (PA), St. Louis (MO), Boston (MA), San Diego (CA), Kalamazoo (MI), Denver (CO), and/or Rockville (MD)

Preferred

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit and 3D collaboration tools (Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, Assemble)

Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards within the AEC industry

Prior internship or co-op experience in CAD, BIM, Engineering Design, or related field
