Responsibilities
Blend the art of storytelling and sales with the science behind how our technology tactically delivers value for our customers
Help make it real during the sales process, with the aim of building prospective customer confidence in Braze's capabilities & team
Work with several high-profile, in-region global accounts, expanding our footprint within these while also expanding into net new strategic accounts
Balance expansion opportunities with retention initiatives
Serve as a mentor to Solutions Consultants on your team
Engage with sophisticated, independent business units within large parent organizations, providing both technical depth and strategic business impact
Lay strong foundations, beginning pre-sales, for long-term partnership between Braze and our customers
Partner with Braze’s sales, marketing, security, and product teams
Qualification
Required
At least 8 years of professional experience selling SaaS solutions to large enterprise clients
Extensive experience in solution consulting, sales engineering or pre-sales solution architecture
Existing technical relationships within some of the region's extensive Fortune 100 companies
Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, compelling narratives
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills coupled with unparalleled follow up skills
Experience selling into enterprise accounts with a sophisticated Solution Consulting, Pre-sales Solution Architecture, or Sales Engineering team
Domain knowledge of two or more of the following: AI, SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Marketing Analytics or Programming (even just HTML)
Access to the Seattle market and willingness to travel out of region, at most 30% at peak times
