Responsibilities
Providing master data support services for Siemens Digital Industries (DI) Division, serving stakeholder business units FA, MC, and PA on a daily basis as the primary function in SAP, E1P-100
The Data Steward will take primary work from an inbox queue of requests and service internal customers accordingly with material add, change, update, extends and otherwise solve problems that arise with data, and redirect to other experts as required
The Data Steward will need to learn and understand internal business processes and the effect that data quality has on these functions, insuring accuracy and providing guidance to the internal teams using your services
Recommend areas of improvement and ideas for further automation in handling data, updating, coordinating data in Siemens and in support of DI division sales and operations
Working closely with others in the local Pre-Sales Team and with the DCM supply chain colleagues on a regular basis
Prompt service and follow through on execution of tasks will be an essential part of success in this role
Qualification
Required
Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
Hands-on experience with SAP and familiarity with business concepts of sales, procurement, delivery and related
Familiarity with SAP SD, MM, and PP modules as related master data connections
Experience working in SAP ECC 6.0 environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Process oriented, problem solver, structured in daily work
Ability to communicate courteously and clearly in speaking and writing with internal customers and colleagues
Legally authorized to work and reside in the United States
Preferred
2+ years of experience in SAP in some capacity with active on-system roles
Knowledge of Siemens internal product structure and alignment principles
Familiarity with PMD, Pricing, Costing, Basic MRP topics, Procurement relevant principles
