Responsibilities
Conduct prior art database searches for patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses
Review and analyze patents and scientific publications to support patent prosecution, counseling, and litigation
Draft patent applications and responses to USPTO office actions
Participate in post-grant proceedings before the USPTO
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Cellular & Molecular Biology, Immunology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field
Broad scientific knowledge in biotechnology
Superb technical, written, and verbal communication skills in English
Initiative-driven, fast learner, and strong team player
Must be a registered USPTO Patent Agent or eligible to sit for the USPTO registration exam
