Responsibilities
Lead Data Architecture Initiatives – Define requirements through stakeholder engagement and oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and performant market data systems
Own the Roadmap – Create and maintain a transparent, prioritized product roadmap for the Data Platform team
Enable Cross-Functional Success – Collaborate with PMs and engineers from Market Surveillance, Transaction Monitoring, AI, and DeFi to align data capabilities with product needs
Optimize for Performance – Drive development of real-time and batch pipelines with low-latency (<100ms) and high-throughput standards
Ensure Quality & Reliability – Champion automated testing, monitoring, and high-availability practices to guarantee data completeness and accuracy
Measure & Improve – Use analytics, KPIs, and feedback loops to refine product delivery and inform strategic decisions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience
Proven experience with equities or futures market data (e.g., CME, US Equity Options)
Strong knowledge of market data protocols and formats (FIX, ITCH, OUCH, CSV)
Experience integrating and supporting market data feed handlers (direct exchange feeds, vendor APIs)
Expertise in tick data storage and time-series databases (KDB+, ClickHouse) and SQL
Familiarity with time series analysis and related data modeling
Exceptional communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
