Responsibilities

Design, build, and ship production-grade features end-to-end across a modern Next.js + TypeScript stack
Develop AI-powered experiences using LLM APIs and frameworks such as the Vercel AI SDK
Integrate with Postgres via Drizzle ORM and maintain robust, well-typed schemas and queries
Orchestrate background jobs, webhooks, and API integrations for external systems
Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability across streaming UIs, caching layers, and background pipelines
Collaborate closely with product, design, and leadership to translate high-level goals into technical solutions
Write clean, maintainable code with strong attention to type safety and developer experience
Contribute to engineering culture through code reviews, documentation, and iterative improvement

Required

2+ years of professional experience building fullstack applications with TypeScript, React, and Next.js (App Router, Server Actions, Route Handlers)
Strong understanding of Postgres and modern ORMs (Drizzle preferred)
Experience deploying AI/LLM applications (streaming text/chat, tool calling, prompt design)
Familiarity with client-side data management (e.g., TanStack Query, SWR)
Proven experience shipping performant, accessible, and reliable user-facing features
Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where iteration speed matters
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience

Preferred

Experience working in early-stage or small, high-output teams
Familiarity with serverless deployments (Vercel, AWS Lambda, or similar)
Active GitHub or public coding projects showing recent, consistent activity
Background integrating third-party APIs, webhooks, and async job queues
Business-oriented mindset — thinking in terms of impact, not just implementation
