Responsibilities
Take high ownership over building and scaling core product features from 0 to 1, with a focus on impact and quality
Contribute across the stack—designing, implementing, testing, and shipping both frontend and backend features
Work closely with founders and product leadership to define priorities, make technical tradeoffs, and shape the engineering culture
Collaborate with customers and partners to understand needs, then build solutions that are elegant, performant, and scalable
Help grow the engineering team through mentorship, process improvements, and technical leadership
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of professional engineering experience in frontend, backend, or fullstack roles
Track record of building products from scratch and taking them to market
Experience working in high-velocity product environments, whether in startups or fast-moving teams at larger companies
Broad technical competence and curiosity across multiple domains—not just a specialist in one niche
Strong ability to think both from first principles and backwards from customer needs
Comfortable working in an unstructured startup environment with high autonomy
Preferred
Familiarity with the current tech stack: Kotlin, Ktor, React, Postgres, Kotest, Amazon ECS
Experience at fintech or vertical SaaS companies (e.g., payments, embedded banking, accounting)
Exposure to API-first product development
Prior roles in environments with rapid growth and high shipping velocity
