Queens Community House (QCH) is dedicated to empowering young adults and creating meaningful career pathways. They are seeking a Job Developer to support individuals aged 18-30 in achieving their personal and career goals through employer partnerships and job readiness training.
Staffing & Recruiting
Responsibilities
Cultivate strong connections with local businesses to secure internships, jobs, and mentorships for program participants
Lead workshops on resume writing, interview techniques, and more! Be the guide participants need to succeed in the workplace
Organize job fairs, networking events, and coordinate internships to expand career opportunities
Offer follow-up services and career counseling to ensure lasting success
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree (Human Resources, Social Work, Business, Marketing preferred)
1–3 years of job development experience with young adults (ages 18-30)
Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools like Salesforce
Preferred
Bilingual skills
Experience in employer engagement and job development
