This position is ideal for a midlevel associate with a passion for cutting-edge legal work at the intersection of technology, intellectual property, and commercial transactions.

Responsibilities

Drafting, negotiating, and advising on technology and IP agreements, including:
Software and technology licensing
Development and consulting agreements
Strategic partnerships and joint ventures
SaaS, cloud, and platform agreements
Distribution and reseller agreements
Website/mobile app terms and privacy policies
Supporting M&A, private equity, and financing transactions with respect to intellectual property and technology matters
Conducting IP diligence and negotiating IP-related terms in corporate transactions

Qualification

Required

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data, technology, and IP transactions

Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school
Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills
Admission to practice law in the jurisdiction of the office location
