Responsibilities
Design, train, and optimize advanced computer vision models (e.g., transformers, temporal models, multimodal systems) for activity recognition and progress tracking
Build scalable infrastructure for processing continuous video streams from thousands of wearable devices
Deploy and monitor models in real-world environments with strict requirements for reliability and low latency
Develop hybrid human-in-the-loop systems that integrate labeling and AI predictions for continuous improvement
Collaborate with hardware teams to align model requirements with custom device development
Architect efficient data pipelines balancing edge processing with cloud-based analysis
Drive innovation in multimodal AI by combining vision, temporal, and contextual data for deeper insights
Qualification
Required
3+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision, machine learning, or a related field
Strong track record of shipping production ML systems, ideally with PyTorch, distributed training, and model serving
Expertise in modern CV architectures (VLMs, CNNs, LSTM, transformers) with real-world deployment
Background in video analysis, temporal modeling, or action recognition
Experience working with large-scale video datasets and annotation workflows
Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
Preferred
Experience with multimodal AI systems (vision + language + temporal)
Exposure to industrial applications such as robotics, autonomous vehicles, edge AI, or construction/manufacturing technology
Familiarity with edge-device deployment and hardware/software integration challenges
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, early-stage environments
