Senior Project Manager – Roadway

FindTalent is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead roadway transportation projects. This position will oversee medium-to-large-scale projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery from planning through closeout.

Responsibilities

Lead the full project lifecycle for roadway design and transportation infrastructure projects, including planning, design, execution, and closeout
Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and contracts to ensure successful delivery within scope and quality standards
Supervise and mentor project teams, assign tasks, and monitor work for accuracy and completeness
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies to resolve project issues and achieve project objectives
Review engineered designs and plans for compliance with applicable state, regional, and local standards
Provide leadership in temporary traffic control (MOT) planning, roadway pavement design, and overall transportation solutions
Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal development and strategic planning

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Professional Engineer (P.E.) required
10+ years of progressive project management experience in transportation engineering
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant design software such as MicroStation and OpenRoads/Geopak
Strong understanding of project management, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
Knowledge of codes, legal requirements, and roadway design standards in Florida

Preferred

Experience with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects
Expertise in Temporary Traffic Control (MOT) planning and roadway pavement design
Active participation in professional or industry organizations
