This leadership role involves overseeing payroll for multiple facilities, managing a payroll team, ensuring compliance, and driving accuracy in payroll execution.

Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for a dozen-plus facilities
Lead and support a payroll team handling daily data entry and processing
Review and approve facility-submitted payroll data; ensure timely, accurate processing
Collaborate with HR on 401(k), health insurance, open enrollment, and employee issues
Handle related compliance and risk areas, including legal matters as needed
Ensure proper PBJ reporting
Operate effectively in a demanding, high-expectation environment with strong leadership support
Qualification
Required
Proven experience managing payroll operations across multiple sites (healthcare preferred)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor payroll team
Comfortable with PBJ reporting
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working under pressure
Must be based in or commutable to Lakewood, NJ
Open to candidates currently at the Supervisor level ready to step into a Director role
Flexible schedule possible; open to candidates working less than a full 8-hour day, provided they remain available to handle any urgent issues that may arise
