Responsibilities

Draft and prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications
Provide technical and strategic IP counsel to attorneys and clients
Conduct prior art analysis and assist with invention disclosure documentation
Support IP portfolio management for clients in the software, electrical, computer engineering, and telecommunications sectors
Work collaboratively with attorneys across offices on both prosecution and litigation matters

Required

Minimum of 3 years of patent prosecution experience, including application drafting
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Telecommunications
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize multiple assignments
Strong technical writing and interpersonal skills

Preferred

Registration to practice before the USPTO is a plus but not required
Experience with foreign patent prosecution is helpful
Familiarity with legal or patent-specific software
Proficient in Microsoft Office
