Apple is looking for a Module Process Engineer to join the Panel Process and Optics (PPO) Engineering team. This role involves developing innovative manufacturing process technologies to address complex design challenges impacting Apple Displays & Touch technology, from concept through product engineering validation builds.

Responsibilities

Developing new innovative manufacturing process technologies to solve complex design challenges that have direct impact to future product, quality and delivery of Apple Displays & Touch
Serving as a focal point in the process development of advanced key process modules from the concept/architecture stage through product engineering validation builds

Required

B.S. Degree minimum in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science or related field and 3 years of relevant industry experience
Experience in leading a project from early development to high volume production
Experience in the development of module processes & its integration in back-end processes of Flat Panel Display & Touch industry or other related industries
Experience in DOE, data analysis, or SPC control
Experience in failure mode analysis, root cause investigation, and problem solving for product yield and quality issue

Preferred

Ph.D. or M.S. degree in Physics, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in related field preferred
Project Management Skills- Excellent data handling, documentation, critical milestone creation, and organization skill
Excellent written & verbal communication skills and demonstrated leadership ability
Ability for International business travel to support project implementation and collaborate with external vendors for product manufacturing
