In this role, you will be central to structuring, negotiating, and managing a range of commercial finance transactions, while building long-term relationships with clients and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate loan documents for secured and unsecured lending transactions
Coordinate and manage all aspects of a deal, including due diligence, closings, and post-closing matters
Juggle multiple deal timelines and deliverables across a variety of industries
Work closely with shareholders and senior counsel, with the opportunity to attend client meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making
Be encouraged to participate in business development and client relationship efforts
Qualification
Required
4–6 years of commercial finance experience at a law firm, including experience managing transactions from term sheet to closing
A demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate loan documents (including credit agreements, security agreements, and ancillary documentation)
Strong organizational and project management skills with a track record of balancing competing priorities
A J.D. from a well-regarded institution and strong academic credentials
Admission (or pending admission) in the jurisdiction where you'll be working (Illinois, New York, or Texas)
