This role will help stakeholders across the utility sector make informed decisions by transforming complex datasets into clear insights.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations that highlight operational, financial, and engineering insights
Curate datasets using SQL and integrate multiple data sources to support reporting needs
Optimize performance and usability of dashboards for a variety of business users
Partner with engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts to understand requirements and deliver accurate, visually compelling dashboards
Provide expertise in visual storytelling, ensuring technical content is accessible and informative to both technical and non-technical audiences
Validate and maintain accuracy of data visualizations
Ensure visualizations comply with established standards for consistency, clarity, and reliability
Support adoption of advanced visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Azure Databricks) for complex reporting requirements
Explore opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in reporting processes
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of professional experience
Strong expertise with Power BI required
Hands-on experience with SQL for data curation
Proven ability to transform raw datasets into actionable insights
Strong knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and visualization best practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred
BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field preferred
Familiarity with Azure Databricks and Tableau is preferred
Prior experience supporting analytics in utilities, engineering, or energy-related fields is a plus
