Responsibilities
Assist in the setup, staging, and breakdown of job sites for central office install and maintenance
Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision
Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
Performs installation such as mounting of equipment, cable rack and fiber protection systems
Follow all safety procedures
Travel to various sites as required—overnight travel may be necessary
Qualification
Required
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Comfortable with travel and working extended hours when needed
1+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or fire systems OR Technical/Military/Trade School training
Preferred
OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred (or willing to obtain upon hire)
Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Prior construction or telecom experience is a plus
