The Senior Psychologist, CF (Specialist) will provide psychological consultation and act as an advisor to institution executives, ensuring effective health care performance management within the correctional facility.

Responsibilities

Performs as the clinical systems expert and provides psychological consultation relating to the institution’s health care performance management programs and processes

Serves as an advisor to institution executives

Acts as a liaison with the Statewide Quality Officer and Quality Management Section staff, statewide executives in various disciplines, other institution Chief Quality Officers (CQO), and other stakeholder groups as appropriate

Required

Must possess a valid California license as a Psychologist

Experience in providing psychological consultation and advice

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships

Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders

Benefits

Recruitment and Retention Bonus available for clinicians newly hired with California Correctional Health Care Services.

$10,000 one-time recruitment and retention stipend should they meet the eligibility criteria, including but not limited to remaining employed with CCHCS for six months.

$20,000 monthly recruitment and retention differential during their first year with CCHCS (totaling $20,000), should they meet the eligibility criteria.

$5,000 referral bonus should you be selected for hire, and remain employed with CCHCS for 90 days.
