This role is responsible for driving growth by understanding the needs of AI researchers and open source communities, and effectively onboarding them to AWS AI Chips.

Responsibilities
Drive growth on mid and long term strategic initiatives with AI research and open source communities
Understand influential AI researcher and open source community needs and how to best onboard them to AWS AI Chips
Identify relevant academic research and measure innovation value to guide investment decisions
Work closely with other GTM specialists in the team and across AWS to promote, attract and drive AI researcher and open source community growth
Identify strategic opportunities, evaluate academic research solutions, and establish processes to measure ongoing investments
Communicate complex technical concepts effectively
Look for patterns and trends that can be broadly applied across an industry segment or a set of customers to help accelerate innovation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or technology
7+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
Experience using managed ML/AI solutions
Experience working cross functionally across several teams
Experience driving collaborative projects from conception to delivery, or experience with training and deploying machine learning systems to solve large-scale optimizations
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts
Preferred
Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
7+ Experience working with AI Researchers, Academic programs, and Open Source communities
7+ Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and managing stakeholders
7+ Experience with GenAI/LLM in a business development/partner capacity
