Responsibilities
Prepare patient for radiological procedures by accurately assessing patients' needs and providing patient education
Ensures correct exam is performed
Operates radiology equipment for data acquisition, reconstruction of images, documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images
Communicates pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient following the examination
Qualification
Required
Graduate from an accredited school of radiology
Current ARRT certification and/or state certification
Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire date, company paid)
