Groundwater Field Tech III

Responsibilities

Assist with pump and well installation, removal, and rehabilitation under supervision
Support shop and yard operations, including cleaning, organizing, staging, and preparing tools and equipment for field work
Participate in site setup and teardown, ensuring safe and efficient operations
Help load, unload, and transport tools, rigging, and equipment to and from job sites
Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and field equipment safely
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Assist with work order documentation and equipment tracking
Communicate effectively with Foremen, Project Managers, and team members
Participate in on-the-job training and company-sponsored technical courses

Required

High School Diploma or GED
Valid California Class “C” Driver's License
Must obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) permit within 90 days of hire
Must obtain a Class “B” or “A” CDL within the required time frame after hire
Must be able to obtain a Hazmat Endorsement (requires TSA clearance)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor in outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain)
Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills
Willingness to work around traffic, heavy equipment, and chemicals used in well rehabilitation

Preferred

Hands-on experience in construction, field service, mechanical, or utility work
Basic knowledge of rigging, welding, or electrical systems
Interest in building a long-term career in pump and well services
