As a Software Engineer (Demo Infrastructure), you will own the technical demo infrastructure, enabling the sales team to deliver effective product demonstrations through the development and maintenance of systems and data pipelines.

Responsibilities
Design and build demo infrastructure: Develop and maintain the backend and frontend systems that power Tractian’s demos, including APIs, data pipelines, databases
Manage demo data generation: Build tools and scripts to simulate real-world scenarios in demo environments
Manage uptime and reliability: Monitor and optimize demo environment performance, ensuring minimal downtime and fast recovery for sales calls, trade shows, and executive presentations
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Product, Sales, and Engineering to ensure the demo stack incorporates the latest features and accurately reflects production environments
Build internal tools and dashboards: Provide internal APIs, dashboards, and admin tools that let AEs, SEs easily deploy, reset, or configure demo environments on demand
Version and document: Maintain strong documentation and version control of demo assets, infrastructure configurations, and deployment scripts for reproducibility
Continuously improve: Analyze usage metrics, environment performance, and sales feedback to prioritize new features and enhancements in the demo ecosystem
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
Experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, Typescript, non relational databases like MongoDB, ScyllaDB
2+ years of experience in Demo Engineering, or a software engineering role
Experience training and enabling sales teams on how to deliver technical demos effectively
Ability to create structured, repeatable demo processes that scale across global teams
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with cross-functional stakeholders
