Responsibilities
Build, stack, and produce dynamic newscasts with clear vision and attention to detail
Write crisp, conversational copy under tight deadlines
Use creative production techniques—including graphics, editing, and innovative media—to elevate stories
Collaborate closely with anchors, reporters, photojournalists, editors, and production staff
Make smart editorial calls, especially in breaking news situations
Ensure the newscast aligns with newsroom goals and connects with our audience across all platforms
Qualification
Required
BA/BS in journalism, communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
At least 3 years' experience producing or line producing live newscasts
Strong editorial judgment and breaking news experience
Excellent writing skills with an ability to produce clean, concise, and accurate scripts
Ability to thrive under deadline pressure and adapt to fast-changing situations
Strong social media awareness and ability to integrate digital content into broadcasts
Preferred
Knowledge of ENPS and Edius preferred
