Responsibilities
Join a collaborative and multidisciplinary research team
Investigate mitochondrial regulation of cardiovascular metabolism, focusing on nutrient flux, redox balance, and metabolic signaling under physiological and pathological conditions
Employ cutting-edge approaches including in vivo and in vitro modeling, targeted and untargeted metabolomics, and stable isotope tracing to explore the role of mitochondrial transporters and enzyme systems in health and disease
Qualification
Required
PhD in Physiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field
At least one strong first-author publication in a peer-reviewed journal
Demonstrated scientific rigor, critical thinking skills, and a strong work ethic
Solid experimental/bench skills, with attention to detail and reproducibility
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Initiative and drive to lead research directions and explore new ideas
Willingness to work across disciplines and develop new technical skills
Preferred
Prior experience with mass spectrometry-based metabolomics and/or stable isotope tracing
Familiarity or interest in cardiovascular biology, mitochondrial metabolism, systems biology, or bioinformatics/data analysis
Enthusiasm for collaborative science and translational research
