Responsibilities

Identify and articulate issues both commercially and technically

Determine who are the key stakeholders and other relevant team members

Collaborate with others to define project scope and objectives, develop detailed work plans and deliver other project artifacts as required to drive projects from greenlight to go-live

Proactively anticipate and identify project issues and risks and recommend mitigations

Provide regular reporting covering project/program status including major deliverables, risk factors and next steps

Required

5+ years relevant work experience

Current or former Management Consultant with experience in financial services or in a project management role for a financial services firm with implementation experience

Familiarity with financial products, institutional end to end trading workflows and trading technology, particularly order management systems

Strong experience with data manipulation in any SQL like language. q/KDB experience is a plus but not required

Proficiency with Jira and Agile project management methodologies

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a structured manner

Experience influencing mid to senior level executives / ability to develop and maintain working relationships across various stakeholders

Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to senior leadership

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Well versed in project management tools and standard methodologies

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets

Detail oriented; demonstrate thoroughness and strong ownership of work

Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others

Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment – strong sense of urgency
