Responsibilities

Lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers

Design, develop, test, and maintain space simulation software

Support force structure planning, Digital Test and Training – Synthetic Environment, and Joint Combatant Command analysis

Collaborate with government stakeholders and customers to capture requirements and deliver solutions

Contribute to software architecture and multidisciplinary research

Communicate progress and updates via Confluence, Discourse, GitLab, and Jira

Required

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience

Strong proficiency in C++, including compiling, linking, and debugging

Experience with agent-based, event-driven modeling and simulation

Foundational space knowledge (e.g., orbital mechanics, coordinate systems, time systems)

Passion for problem-solving and thriving in agile environments

Must pass a technical coding assessment in C++

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
