Principal Solutions Architect
Stratolaunch is a technology accelerator that engineers operationally realistic testing at Mach 5+. They are seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to define and mature technical architectures for hypersonic flight test and research missions, bridging customer needs with engineering capabilities.
Responsibilities
Lead architecture definition for hypersonic flight test missions and ground infrastructure
Translate mission requirements into system concepts, architecture views, and interface specifications
Evaluate emerging technologies for integration into future Stratolaunch programs
Support proposals and customer engagements by shaping technical solutions and system architectures
Ensure system designs are compatible with hypersonic mission objectives, safety, and regulatory constraints
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to mature architectures through design, integration, test, and flight
Serve as technical liaison with government and industry partners to align architectures with test objectives
Qualification
Required
Expertise in MBSE tools (Cameo, Rhapsody, SysML), system modeling, or DoDAF frameworks
Experience architecting systems supporting flight test, range operations, or rapid prototype development
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical ideas to diverse stakeholders
Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred
Principal Level ($175,500-$230,300): Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from accredited institution and 20+ years of relevant experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
