The Finance Intern will work closely with the finance department, assisting in various tasks such as preparing tax returns, processing payments, and supporting month-end close activities.

Responsibilities
Learn basic knowledge of business in a real-world setting
Assist in the preparation and payment sales and use tax returns for all applicable states
Process customers lockbox, wire, ACH, and credit card payments
Learn what it takes to become a Premier customer
Process vendor invoices and payments
Assist billing in processing a billing cycle
Prepare JE’s & schedules for month-end close
Assist FP&A on customer review and branch fleet analysis
Assist Corporate teams with various projects
PROJECT: Customer review for National Accounts
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in a four-year degree or graduate program (Business/Finance majors preferred)
Successful completion of college junior study semesters
GPA of 3.0 or greater
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Effective time management and ability to work as part of a team are essential
Be able to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the summer internship with minimum absences
Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills – Including Pivot Tables
