Visiting Research Professor (Contractual)

Morgan State University is seeking a Visiting Research Professor to support a DOD project focused on developing Light-weight Thermoelectric Nanocomposites. The role involves conducting MD simulations, mentoring students, and contributing to research and outreach efforts within the School of Engineering.

Required

A Ph.D. or D.Eng. degree in (disciplines…)?
3-5 years of postdoctoral research experience
Experience leading and managing research projects
Engineering design and analysis, model development, and technology assessments
Experience with intellectual property and patents
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience working in consortium projects: multidisciplinary and multi-institution projects
Experience with successful proposal/grant writing

Preferred

An earned terminal degree In Applied Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or related area
Strong experience in MD simulation is preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills are preferred
