Aero Equipment ITR Electrical Engineer

GE Vernova is looking for highly motivated individuals to join the Aero Equipment ITR engineering team. The Aero Equipment ITR Electrical Engineer will be part of a team tasked to deliver wing-to-wing customer solutions for Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Generator Equipment projects, focusing on safety, quality, speed, on-time delivery, and cost management.

Responsibilities

Assist Senior Engineers to develop and implement project specific designs
Serve as a key contributor to develop a scope of work and plan schedule and monitor engineering activities for customer projects
Provide technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, GE Product Engineering, Sourcing, Engineering sub-contractors
Provide technical clarification of designs with suppliers, manufacturing, and services teams
Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters
Collaborates with others to solve issues, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college of Science in Electrical Engineering degree or related technical field
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience related to bills of materials, manufacturing, electrical engineering, and product design

Preferred

Highly motivated, self-starter, energetic, positive, flexible in changing environments
Ability to demonstrate a structured approach to problem solving, learning agility
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams in an international environment
Proficiency in MS Office tools
Related electrical engineering experience through COOP or University classwork
