Finance Director - Office Administrator

NOW CFO is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Director to oversee both financial operations and administrative functions. This role combines finance leadership with HR and office management responsibilities, managing accounting processes, financial planning, and reporting while ensuring smooth organizational administration.

Accounting

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records across banking, accounting software, and databases
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, bank reconciliations, invoice processing, and other daily finance activities
Prepare and present financial reports; manage relationships with auditors, consultants, and external service providers
Lead financial planning and KPI tracking to guide organizational performance
Manage HR-related processes, including employee benefits, payroll coordination, and 401(k) plan administration
Oversee office operations, administrative workflows, and vendor/partner relationships
Provide support with research, reporting, and analysis to ensure cross-departmental alignment
Contribute to a positive, collaborative culture by taking initiative and demonstrating a solutions-oriented mindset

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar operational role
Demonstrated knowledge of financial management and accounting practices
Proven skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with high attention to accuracy and detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with leadership, staff, and external partners
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

Experience in HR administration, including benefits and retirement plan management, strongly preferred
QuickBooks experience preferred
Experience with CRM/AMS systems and data-driven reporting tools a plus
