The Senior Provider Compensation & Contract Analyst is responsible for financial modeling and scenario analysis for provider compensation, monitoring provider contracts, and optimizing compensation administration software while presenting information to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Ensures the accurate and timely preparation of financial modeling and scenario analysis for provider compensation which impacts the business performance of the health system

Monitors and tracks internal activity related to provider contracts

Maintains a working knowledge of current provider activities & compensation practices

Responsible for administration and optimization of a provider compensation administration software which includes report outputs and communications

Interacts, provides guidance, and presents clear compensation and contract information to organizational senior leaders in a professional, confident, and knowledgeable manner

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related field

5 years in healthcare, legal business, compensation or similar

3 years contract management experience

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related field Master's level coursework

Experience with finance in an integrated healthcare environment including medical group operations

Knowledge of: performance improvement methodologies, provider compensation incentive metrics including value based, benchmarking or financial planning

CPA, CMA, CHFP, or PMP certification

Proficiency in using Provider Compensation Administration software

Knowledge of legal forms and legal requirements for employed physician contracts and addendums preferred

Understanding of the provider compensation industry, trends, issues, risks, etc

Experience with database and decision support systems

Highly organized with project management experience
