They are seeking a Staff Civil Engineer I to join their collaborative team, where you will contribute to projects focused on environmental and infrastructure solutions while gaining hands-on experience in civil engineering.
Environmental Consulting
Responsibilities
Conduct field inspections and document construction activities
Interpret design drawings and specifications
Troubleshoot issues with contractors on-site
Perform soil and concrete material testing
Prepare clear and concise written field reports
Assist Project Managers with technical and civil engineering design or provide Project Management
Perform technical engineering work associated with land development and/or water resources:
Stormwater management design
Site grading
Erosion and sediment control design
Prepare plans for agency/municipal review
Completion of various land development and environmental permitting applications
Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, be self-motivated, and willing to put the full effort towards the task at hand
Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance as an engineer or technical designer
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
0-2 years of experience in land development and civil-site engineering
Familiarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software
Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred
A bachelor's degree is a plus
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred
EIT Preferred
Familiarity with ArcGIS software is preferred
