WFC Workforce Development Program Intern

Responsibilities
Help our High School Forestry Workforce Development Curriculum meet current digital accessibility requirements under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Complete training on how to design equitable courses through the use of Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
Make sure the curriculum aligns with those standards
Work with curriculum that consists of 4 modules (Tree Identification and Biology, Forest Health, Forest Management, and Forest Products) that use slide decks that need to be Title II compliant
Qualification
Required
Good communication and writing skills
Familiarity with Microsoft products
Familiarity or willingness to learn Title II compliance
Enrolled in 12 undergraduate credits
2.5 or higher GPA
Good academic standing
Preferred
Familiarity with science/ natural resource topics
