Responsibilities
Sort and collate incoming and outgoing mail by department, category, or destination
Weigh mail and apply correct postage using postage meter machines
Prepare envelopes and packages for dispatch, including labeling and sealing
Record and track registered, certified, and express mail
Operate mailroom equipment such as scanners, fax machines, and sorting machines
Stamp and date incoming mail and log delivery details
Handle misdirected mail and arrange for reforwarding
Maintain inventory of mailing supplies (e.g., stamps, envelopes, labels)
Assist with bulk mailings and special delivery requests
Ensure compliance with postal regulations and company policies
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift and move packages (up to 30lbs)
Familiarity with mailroom equipment and software
Good communication and literacy skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Able to pass background check
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in a mailroom or clerical role is a plus
