Responsibilities

GPO Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with group purchasing organizations and buying consortiums. Lead negotiations, manage RFPs, and oversee compliance with agreements. Serve as the primary representative, educating teams and members on partnership benefits and processes
Training & Presentation: Deliver engaging training sessions—both in-person and virtually—on CRM usage and GPO processes. Develop and present materials that empower sales teams and external partners to maximize program value
CRM Leadership: Act as the local CRM owner and super user, driving adoption, usage, and compliance. Train users, monitor engagement, and support the transition to integrated ERP systems
Data Analysis & Reporting: Interpret monthly sales reports (product types, member segments) provided by finance. Break down data for GPOs, identify trends, and create actionable insights. Develop dashboards and reporting tools to measure performance
Cross-Functional Influence: Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and IT to align strategies and priorities. Influence stakeholders and serve as a resourceful support for field sales representatives
Marketing & Creativity: Partner with marketing to create tools and resources for GPO members. Bring a creative, sales-oriented mindset to program development and trade show initiatives
Travel: Up to 30% travel for GPO visits, networking events, and regional training sessions

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Sales or Marketing
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales support, training, or related roles—ideally with long sales cycles and technical products
Experience in flooring, interior finishes, or construction is highly desirable
Familiarity with purchasing organizations/GPOs and RFP processes
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint) and CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
Data-oriented mindset with proven analytics skills
Creative approach to problem-solving and marketing initiatives
