Responsibilities

Partner with senior leaders across Barrett and the wider Group to ensure business activities align with overall strategic goals and growth initiatives

Lead the development and implementation of a best-in-class business capture process, driving collaboration, communication, and training across departments

Oversee capture and proposal efforts, coordinating cross-functional teams to craft winning strategies and compelling solutions

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and vendors while helping close strategic business opportunities

Monitor markets, competitors, and customer trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership

Champion continuous improvement by refining operational policies, establishing performance metrics, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, International Relations, Engineering or a related field required. Equivalent professional experience or combination of education and experience may be considered

Minimum of 2-3 years Military/Law Enforcement BD/Sales experience required

Minimum of 5 years' experience in the BD/Sales/Capture Management process of manufactured products in the firearms/defense space, required

Productive firearms experience with a strong background in managing contracts, negotiating and selling at senior levels
