Responsibilities

Develop and implement improvement strategies, practices, and projects that support operational goals and objectives

Capital project development and execution including all aspects of project management including research, design, vendor selection, quotation evaluation, job planning and scheduling

Plan for plant infrastructure upgrades and repairs, maintaining schedules and developing budget cost estimates for projects

Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering process problems

Develop and track reliability metrics to identify improvement opportunities, evaluate trends, and ensure that business objectives are met

Prepares interim and completion project reports

Create a culture of continuous process improvement and employee learning/development

Demonstrate problem solving and decision-making qualities that create alignment within the department and the organization

Projects to include but not limited to; reverse engineering, machine upgrades, as well as new equipment installations

Required

6+ year's relevant industrial experience in an asset intensive manufacturing environment, working with heavy industrial equipment, robotics, automation

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong computer, organizational, and project scheduling skills

Ability to work with internal maintenance teams and outside contractors

Project Management and Execution Experience with projects from start to finish

Experience with executing projects upwards of $10M

Candidates must also be willing to travel when needed domestically and international

4 Year Degree; Engineering or Project management

OSHA10/30 certification
